The results showed that the spatial distribution of soil texture was found that it had relatively strong spatial correlation in addition to the surface of clay for medium spatial correlation by geostatistics analysis.Further analysis showed that the spatial variability of soil texture was depend on its consistent factors rather than random factors. Throughout the Jiefangzha irrigation area, the soil texture was mainly silt loam, occupied an area of more than 90%. With the depth increased, the proportion of clay loam class had a tendency to increase. The proportion of sand class remained unchanged, and the proportion was low between 4. 5% ~ 6%. From upstream to downstream along the trunk escape canal, the soil texture changed from sand class to loam class.Read More
