Title: Reflections on the Curriculum Set-up of Economics
Abstract: On basis of a comparison of the training programs and characteristics curriculum set-up of economics between the universities of the United States and those of Hong Kong, it is argued that the aim of training in many of the universities in China is much too high and there is a lack of pertinence. What is needed at the present time is a revaluation of thought of teaching design and a reformation in the curriculum set-up of economics with consideration of competitive capability of talented personnel.
