Title: The ore complex characteristics and processing performance of Hongshuihe iron deposit, Qinghai province
Abstract: Hongshuihe iron deposit, a metamorphic sedimentary deposit, is located in the northern slope of Mountain Buerhanbuda of the eastern section of the East Kunlun in Qinghai Province, and occurs in a set of epimetamorphic calcareous chlorite phyllite with interlayed carbonate rocks of Mesoproterozoic Langyashan Group. The natural types of ore are mainly magnetite, magnetite with hematite, hematite, etc. and the industrial type is the iron ore required to select. Ore minerals are mainly magnetite, hematite, limonite, specularite and so on, and gangue minerals are mainly quartz, as well as chlorite, ankerite and calcite, etc. The major component for the recovery of the ore with a little high harmful phosphorus is iron, the slagging component is SiO2, as well as Al2O3, CaO and MgO. The ore type is a single mixed acidic hybrid iron ore, having the low sulfur and containing phosphorus. Non-uniform fine-grained magnetite is embedded in ores, so it is difficult to obtain high-grade iron concentrate and should be ground more than 95% at -400 meshes to get more than 62% iron concentrate. That means, the technical and economic indicators are needed to calculate to whether it is beneficial or not to develop it.
