Title: Popular Cultural Criticism Theory’s Postmodern Transition
Abstract: Popular cultural criticism theory’s transition mainly refers to some postmodern theorists,especially Baudrillard and Jameson’s criticism on popular culture, whose contents and value evaluation show the postmodern transition ,comparing with forepart’s popular cultural criticism represented by Frankfort school. Although postmodern popular cultural criticism focuses on human being’s subjective activity and subjective resistant consciousness influenced by postmodern media, and reveals constructive significance on postmodern cultural research, it shows gradually declined theoretical criticism because of it’s own theoretical limitation.
