Title: The comparative study of neoclassical economics and new classical economics
Abstract: In the history of economics development, mainstream economics can be divided into two periods: classical economics and neoclassical economics. Since 1980s,some economists, whose representatives are Rosen Becker Yang Borland and NG, changed the essential idea of neoclassical economics-division of labor and specialization-into decision and equilibrium model with the help of inframarginal analysis method. And then from this, they developed new classical economics, the brand-new economics idea. New classical economics will surely have far-reaching influence on economics development. This article plans to study new classical economics and its inframarginal analysis method as well as its influence on economics development from the viewpoint of the comparison between neoclassical economics and new classical economics.
