Title: Diagnosis of Congenital Megaureter by Urography(A Report of 15 Cases)
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the imaging features,examination technique and clinical value of X-ray urography of congenital megaureter.Methods:15 cases with congenital megaureter confirmed by operation and pathology were reviewed.Results:One or two ureters were involved.The dilation of the involved ureter arose from the pelvic segment of ureter except the last terminal segment of involved ureter which was normal in calibre and was 1~2 cm long.The peristalses of the dilated ureter could be seen but it disappeared in the end of the ionvolved ureter,which was of normal calibrc.Delay in the empty of ureter was seen.The ureter counter current from the bladder could not be found.Conclusion:The X-ray urography is the optimal way for the congenital megaureter in its diagnosis,followed up and the evaluation of treatment effect.
