Abstract:In order to explore effects of various processing parameters and micro-structure on mechanical property of jute fiber reinforced polyurethane composites,jute fiber reinforced polyurethane composites w...In order to explore effects of various processing parameters and micro-structure on mechanical property of jute fiber reinforced polyurethane composites,jute fiber reinforced polyurethane composites were prepared by variable fiber injection technology.The influence of jute fiber contents,fiber length and fiber modification treatment to the tensile properties was analyzed by orthogonal test.The microstructure and fracture surface of the tensile sample were studied through the scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results showed that the products will get the best tensile performance while jute fiber content was 15%,fiber length was 25 mm and jute fibers were modified with alkali and silane coupling agent compound modification solution.The result was compared with the corresponding research of glass fiber and carbon fiber reinforced polyurethane composites,and can also provide a theoretical basis for improving the quality of products in actual manufacture.Read More
