Title: Immunogenicity of Osteogenic Differentiated Mesenchymal Stem Cells
Abstract: Mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)is a good choice for cell transplantation for its multilineage differentiation ability and low immunogenicity. Our previous studies in vitro indicated that undifferentiated MSCs of swine are low immunogenic and could suppress proliferative response of human peripheral blood lymphocyte to several antigens. In this study,we investigated the immunogenicity of osteogenic differentiated MSCs.SLA class Ⅰ(P1,P14)expressed on both differentiated and undifferentiated MSCs was detectable by RT-PCR.SLA class Ⅱ(SLA-DRA,SLA-DQA)was only detectable on differentiated MSCs.MLR assays demonstrated that both differentiated and undifferentiated MSCs failed to stimulate proliferative responses of hPBLs.
