Title: Ultrasound-guided compression repair of femoral artery pseudoaneurysm
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of ultrasound-guided compression repair(UGCR) for post-(puncture) femoral artery pseudoaneurysm.Methods: Twenty-four patients with post-catheterization femoral artery pseudoaneurysm underwent compression repair with a probe.Results: Femoral artery pseudoaneurysm repair was performed successfully in 96%(23/24) patients with a single compression. Conclusion: UGCR is a simple,(effective),safe and cost-effective method for treatment of post-puncture femoral artery pseudoaneurysm and has high potential in clinical practice.
