Title: The impact of tertiary rehabilitation care on quality of life in patients with stroke
Abstract: Objective To investigate the impact of tertiary rehabilitation care on quality of life in patients with stroke. Methods 80 cases of stroke patients admitted to our hospital from August 2012 to June 2013,they were randomly divided into study group and control group,40 patients in each group,all patients were given conventional symptomatic treatment,the control group was given conventional rehabilitation care,research group was given standardized three rehabilitation care,in stability period,patients were given neurology rehabilitation nursing,in recovery stage,professional rehabilitation care was given in rehabilitation department,and community rehabilitation or home rehabilitation care was given in maintenance stage,QOL scale was used to evaluate life quality of patients before and after treatment. Results Before treatment,QOL scores of two groups showed no significant difference(P0.05),after six months nursing,each score and total QOL score of two groups were lower than before treatment,but the scores of study group were significantly lower than the control group,the difference statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion Tertiary rehabilitation care in stability,recovery,maintenance stage can assist patients with system rehabilitation therapy,which will help improve the quality of life of patients with stroke,it is worthy of application.
