Title: Simulated Model for One Lane Traffic Flow Based on Acceptable Safe Gaps
Abstract: Micro simulation of the traffic flow is a computerized method to describe and analyze the traffic flow. Especially for the complicated traffic flow, micro simulation shows special advantages. The accuracy depends on how it is modeled. Based on the study of the characteristics of one lane traffic flow in China and referring to lane change theory and acceptable safe gaps, the association of gaps with safe lane change is analyzed and how to model the traffic simulation for one lane with car overtaking is described.
