Title: Assessment of the Effect of Automatic Optimization Parameter Mode on Mammary Gland DR Image Quality and Average Gland Dose
Abstract: Objective:To investigate whether different automatic optimization parameter modes affect DR image quality of mammary gland and average gland dose, and to provide reference for the DR image quality of mammary gland and dose control. Methods:Breast phantom was exposed to DOSE,STD,CNT exposure modes offered by AOP.Every exposure was repeated 4 times and average gland dose was recorded. All the images were analyzed in the same gland image work station by 2 senior image diagnosis doctors on 5MP monitor, all images were scored according to ACR standard. The exposure data and the score data were statistically analyzed. Results:With the same pressure and gland thickness, the AGD was the lowest with DOSE exposure mode, with STD,CNT exposure modes, the AGD increased 21.9% and 146.2%,respectively.12 images of the 3 groups were all scored by ACR standard, there was no statistical significance of the 3 group image data analysis(P0.05).Conclusion:DOSE exposure mode can decrease AGD in the AOP mode during mammary gland DR,and there is no effect on image quality.Since the AGD increases obviously when using the CNT exposure mode,CNT exposure mode should not be used.
