Abstract:This study aims to probe into art college students' emotion regulation strategies,and the relationship between their emotion regulation strategies,personality and automatic thoughts,by using a questio...This study aims to probe into art college students' emotion regulation strategies,and the relationship between their emotion regulation strategies,personality and automatic thoughts,by using a questionnaire to test 351 art college students.The results show the following:(1) The art college students didn't achieve significantly sexual diversity on emotion regulation strategies,but in negative emotion regulation strategy,attentive deployment was often used.The situation modification was the least in anger emotion regulation strategy,and the social support was the least in sadness emotion regulation strategy.The expressive suppression was less among all strategies of negative emotion regulaiton.In happiness emotion regulation strategy,sharing was often used,and the expressive oppression was the least;In happiness emotion regulation strategy,sharing was often usde,and the expressive oppression was the least.(2) These students' personality and automatic thoughts are significantly correlated with their emotion regulation strategies.(3) These students' personality is likely to have a direct or indirect effect on their emotion regulation strategies by means of automatic thoughts.Read More
