Abstract:Objective To study systematically the distribute of BDNF and TrkB in the normal rat hippocampal formation CA1.Methods Observes systematically the expression changes of brain-derived neurotrophic facto...Objective To study systematically the distribute of BDNF and TrkB in the normal rat hippocampal formation CA1.Methods Observes systematically the expression changes of brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) and tyrosine kinase receptor(TrkB) in the normal rat brains during development and adulthood and aged phase.Results BDNF and TrkB immunoreactive neurons appeared in cells of the pyramidal cell layer on postnatal day(PND) 0.The immnuostaining intensity reached a plateau-like pattern during adulthood.The number of immnuoreaacting cells decreased during aged phase.Pyramidal cell layer of CA1 became thinner.BDNF and TrkB were expressed significantly in immnuoreaacting cells during adulthood.During aged phase,immnuoreaacting cells slightly degenerated.Conclosion The expression of BDNF and TrkB reached a peak in hippocampal formation CA1 of rats on PND 20.The expression of BDNF and TrkB decreased gradually after adulthood.During aged phase,the expression of BDNF and TrkB increased significantly,and the form of the cell occurred degeneration.Read More
