Abstract:Objective To develop a conventional two-cuff technique of orthotopic liver transplantation model in rats and summarize related skills.Methods Based on the conventional two-cuff-technique,the liver was...Objective To develop a conventional two-cuff technique of orthotopic liver transplantation model in rats and summarize related skills.Methods Based on the conventional two-cuff-technique,the liver was perfused through the abdominal aorta,and PV and IVC were blocked by mosquito forceps.The fluid was supplemented and the pH was adjusted to the rat after operation.Results The improved twocuff-technique was effective with short anhepatic phase about 8-13 min and high survival-rate of 83%.Conclusion The improved method is proved to be ideal for its advantages of simple operation,short anhepatic phase and high operative successful rate.Read More
