Title: Immigrants of the Central Plains into Fujian in the Early Tang Dynasty and the formation of Fujian and Taiwan Culture
Abstract: In the Early Tang Dynasty,in order to put down the Barbarous Liao Rebellion in the south of Wuling Mountains,the royal court of the Tang Dynasty sent Chen Zheng and Chen Yuanguang who were father and son to lead the immigrants of the Central Plains into Fujian and develop Zhangzhou and Chaozhou areas,which is an event of far reaching significance.While stabilizing South Fujian and Northeast Guangdong,they formed the unique Fujian and Taiwan Culture after many years of migration.Therefore,the root of Fujian and Taiwan Culture is in the Central Plains,which is an undeniable historical fact.
