Abstract: School bullying is a phenomenon taking place in peer group, and peer serves as a context for the occurrence of bullying. Traditional research of relations between bullying and its peer context focuses on how bullying/victimization was connected with bully or victim's peer status. Recently, researchers have been exploring how bullying and peer are related by investigating peer groups. Studies of the influence of deviant peer affiliations on aggression and antisocial behaviors provided some explanations for the connection between bullying and peer context. The present paper reviews the researches from the three aspects mentioned above, and reveals some implications for further researches and designs of anti-bullying program.
