Abstract: College English Curriculum Requirements(for Trial Implementation) promulgated by Ministry of Education in 2004,is a programmatic document for undergraduate college English teaching.Three levels are set in the document,i.e.,basic,intermediate and higher levels.The present paper is intending to point out the importance of systematic improvement of different-level college English teaching and advise the major crucial issues of college English teaching reform,as course designing,teaching model and teaching administrations are concerned with.
