Title: Study of reinforcement effect of anchored rock masses and analytic constitutive equation for rock bolt
Abstract: Based on the theories of Mohr-Coulomb and Hoek-Brown and Duncan-Chang,the anchored effect of some kinds of rock masses are analysed;and the results of that the cohesive strength of rock masses and the shear strength of the rock joints have been improved by bolts or cables are established..Through analyzing the tests results, the development of analytical constitutive equations based on the thesis of shear stress is in proportion to bolt or rock mass relative displacement are established;and the analysis of parameters are carried out;it is shown that the reinforcement effect may be improved and enhanced by increase the magnitude of applied load and the diameter of bolt or cable and anchored length.Under previous researchers’ studying works, the development of the analytic model which the interface decoupling between bolt and grout medium or rock masses has been established based on above-mentioned analytical constitutive equation.
