Title: Effect of Qi-strengthening,Yin-nourishing and Blood-activating Therapy for Cervicogenic Angina Pectoris:An Observation of 37 Cases
Abstract: Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of Qi-strengthening, yin-nourishing and blood-activating therapy for cervicogenic angina pectoris(CAP) which were differentiated as Qi-yin deficiency and blood-stasis blocking collater- als.Methods:Seventy-three CAP patients were randomized into two groups:the control group(n=36)received isosorbide dinitrate and metoprolol,and the treat- meat group B(n=37)received intravenous drip of Danshen Injection and Shen Mai Injection except the treatment for the control group.Results:The total therapeutic effective rate and the effective rate for electrocardiogram were 89.2% and 81.1% in the treatment respectively,and were 63.7% and 50.0% in the control group re- spectively,the difference being significant between the two groups(P0.01). Conclusion:Application of Qi-strengthening,yin-nourishing and blood-activat- ing herbal medicine on the basis of routine western treatment exerts a better effect for CAP with Qi-yin deficiency and blood-stasis blocking collaterals.
