Title: Detection of Porcine IFN -γ in Pigs Infected by High Pathogenic Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus with the Application of ELISPOT
Abstract: Objective: To investigate the production of IFN-γ from peripheral blood mononucler cells(PBMC) in pigs infected by high pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV).Methods: Pigs were inoculated with high pathogenic PRRSV.PBMC were isolated from blood samples collected before or post inoculation.Porcine IFN-γ screened by PBMC was detected by enzyme-linked immunospot assay(ELISPOT).Results: The frequency of PRRSV-specific IFN-γ sceening cells increased when pigs were infected by high pathogenic PRRSV.The control group didn't show significant changes. Conclusion: The results were helpful for exploring the pathogenic mechanism of high pathogenic PRRSV and for evaluating the cell-mediated immune response induced by PRRSV vaccine.
