Title: A Historic Track of the Social Urbanization in Japan —Focusing on the Urban and Rural Social Interactions of Urban Development in Postwar Tokyo
Abstract: This paper focus on the urbanization progress of the postwar Japan. Four parts are included in the essay. The first part, the urbanization progress of Japan, is social interactions. The second part focuses on pushing forward rural and urban urbanization by both industrial and residential district migration, while peasants accepted the facts of urbanization on the condition of keeping the possession of the land. The third part illustrates that the government made and improved many relevant rules in order to keep the urbanization progress running smoothly under law and order. The last part of this essay is that, in order to realize our harmonious society, we should strengthen the role of nongovernmental organizations in the process of urbanization and pushing forward the co-existence of city and country by both authority and the people.
