Title: Changes of Isozyme in Meloidogyne incognita Infected Micro-Tom Tomato
Abstract: Micro-Tom tomato seedlings were inoculated with Meloidogyne incognita eggs in laboratory.The first sampling was at the second day after inoculation,altogether 10 samples were taken.The technology of PAGE was used to analyze the changes of isozyme bands and enzyme activities of SOD and POD in the infected Micro-Tom tomato by Meloidogyne incognita.The results showed that after the Micro-Tom tomato infected by Meloidogyne incognita,the isozyme bands of POD in tomato plant significantly increased,and the activity of POD increased with days passing;the isozyme bands of SOD had no obvious change,but its activity also significantly increased.Therefore,the results indicated that the enzymes of SOD and POD in tomato infected by Meloidogyne incognita had made adaptive response in order to resist infection.
