Title: The Use of Artificial Bone Vertebral Models in the Mechanical Assessment of Vertebroplasty In Vitro
Abstract: Numerous in vitro studies have utilised bone models for the pre-clinical assessment of orthopaedic medical devices and interventions. This is usually driven by their low cost, reduced variability and low degradation when compared to human tissues. We evaluated an artificial-bone vertebral model as a means for assessing vertebroplasty in-vitro.
