Abstract: Long duration human space missions pose significant challenges to the integrated activities supporting space operations. Flight software and crew training are intricately bound together for these activities. Synchronizing the processes and underlying activities and leveraging those results within a knowledge-based framework provides an approach to improving flight software quality and crew readiness to resolve problems encountered in each phase of the mission. Improvement in both the quality of Flight Software and the Readiness of the Crew has a direct impact on mission success and the reduction of probability of failure for all classes of missions.
