Title: Establishing a Viable Consulting Interface: a Practical Construct.
Abstract: To a large extent, the success or failure of a consulting effort lies in the consultant's handling of the interaction between himself and the staff of the organization he is serving. The consultant must insure that a workable interface is established which gives him access to the expertise and data he requires to accomplish his task. This paper describes one approach the consultant can take to establish this interface. In particular, it deals with how the consultant can use an in-house task group to serve as the consulting interface.
