Title: An Oscillating Wing Section in Weak Ground Effect
Abstract: Aerodynamic theory of a wing section oscillating in a steady incompressible flow at some distance from a flat ground is developed. Using the ratio of the wing quarter-chord to its average distance from the ground as a small parameter, leading-order approximations are obtained for the lift and pitching moment coefficients. The approximations are shown to be in a good agreement with the available numerical data.
