Title: THE SOCIAL DESIRABILITY RESPONSE BIAS IN ETHICS RESEARCH: ITS IMPACT AND MEASUREMENT.

A survey of college students reveals a strong response bias with trait desirability having the greatest influence. Alternatives to commonly used Marlowe-Crowns scale are suggested.
