Title: Hidrofugante que menor variación cromática produce en la cerámica porosa cara vista
Abstract: El uso de la colorimetría tiene una aplicación relevante en el campo de conservación del Patrimonio Arquitectónico.La variación de determinados parámetros relacionados con el color de un material indica una modificación estética más o menos importante (1).En muchas ocasiones, es necesaria la utilización de productos consolidantes y/o hidrofugantes en intervenciones de conservación.En la mayoría de los casos, en el momento de la aplicación de estos productos, no se aprecian variaciones en el color del material tratado, pero con el tiempo, dependiendo de la composición del producto de tratamiento, así como de la exposición a las radiaciones solares, puede que el material modifique apreciablemente su cromaticidad y su luminosidad (2)(3)(4).En este artículo se analiza la variación de color que se produce en la cerámica porosa utilizada en cerramientos exteriores cara vista, clasificada en función de su color, al aplicarle diferentes productos hidrofugantes, teóricamente incoloros, clasificados en función de su composición, para poder identificar qué producto hidrofugante produce la menor variación cromática en cada uno de los tipos de cerámica estudiada.Para la cuantificación del color se utiliza el espacio de color RGB, basado en los colores primarios rojo (R), verde (G) y azul (B), realizando la medición digital del color mediante los histogramas de imagen.El espacio de color RGB es recomendado, frente a otros espacios de color (CIELab y HSV), para la identificación de minerales (5) y está demostrado que es un espacio de color válido para obtener cuantificaciones de color en valor relativo con respecto a una medición base (6)(7)(8)(9)(10), generándose una herramienta de muy rápida utilización para poder establecer una sistematización en la metodología utilizada para la cuantificación de variaciones cromáticas en los materiales cerámicos.Se seleccionan un total de 39 modelos de cerámica y se clasifica según su color, en el espacio de color RGB en base a sus colores primarios rojo, verde y azul y la luminosidad, seleccionando cerámicas con todos los colores existentes actualmente en el mercado.Cada producto hidrofugante seleccionado es aplicado a cada modelo de cerámica porosa seleccionada, cuantificándose la variación cromática que produce cada producto y así poder determinar el hidrofugante que menor variación cromática produce en cada tipo de cerámica clasificada por su color. MATERIALES Ladrillos cerámicosSe seleccionan 39 modelos de cerámica porosa en relación con su tipo de fabricación: manual, prensada y extrusionada.Se clasifica la cerámica en cinco colores: blanco, gris, ocre, rojo y marrón, en función de sus valores de histograma en el espacio de color RGB (6), presentando en la tabla I, los rangos de valores de color y luminosidad.
