When the pulsation is given on the upstream side, the wall pressure and the flow velocity fluctuate in phase, while when the pulsation is given on the downstream side, there is a phase difference of 900 between them. The incipient and the desinent cavitation number have approximately the same value. The characteristics of such pulsations are independent of the pulsating conditions and the types of cavitation.Read More
