Clinical applicatio ns of antiandrogens in the treatment of seborrhea acne prostatic hypertrophy and prostatic cancer have received increasing attention recently but undesirable side effects have tended to limit these applications in men. Rare cases of criminally excessive sexuality constitute another possible indication. Antiandrogens have been used in animal experimentation to elucidate the roles of male hormones in embryonic sex differentiation and fetal development of genitalia mammary glands and hypothalamus. Therapeutic applications of antiandrogens especially progesterone are expected to increase greatly in the future.Read More
