{'アムール川は主に中国とロシアの国境を流れる国際河川である.中流域では高い頻度で洪水が起こっているが,定期観測データがほとんど無く,洪水の実態は明らかにされてこなかった.本研究ではアムール川中流域のハバロフスクにおける降水量データと流量データを基に洪水の数値解析を行い,現地での聞き取り調査と照合した.さらに,地形分類図を作製した上でJERS-1/SARデータにより湿地図を作製し,遊水地としての機能を多く果たす地形を明らかにした.その結果,月降水量の頻度は指数分布に従っており,5・10・20・50・100年確率降水量を算出することができた.また,降水量と流量の関係はロジスティック曲線に従っており,理論上,降水量96.5mm/月を超えると河川氾濫が始まることがわかった.当該地域の地形は丘陵地,氾濫原,自然堤防,低位及び高位段丘に分類できた.この中で湿地が多く分布するのは氾濫原で,湿地面積と降水量に相関がみられ,遊水地としての機能を大きく果たしていることがわかった.':
