Abstract: 1. Intramuscular administration of acetylcholine in dogs results in an increase in the blood aniylase titre. 2. Physostigmine markedly increases the blood amylase response to acetylcholine. 3. Previous atropine admiinistration inhibits the blood amylase response to acetylcholine.
