Title: Asian Filmmakers Moving into Hollywood: Genre Regulation and Auteur Aesthetics
Abstract: In the past few years, there has been a notable change of Asian representation in Hollywood. For one thing, Asian actors have gradually moved into Hollywood as a result of their recognition in films such as The Corrupter (1999), Rush Hour (1998), Lethal Weapon 4 (1998), and Tomorrow Never Dies (1997).
