Title: A New Scheme to Maintain Routes in Entry-to-Exit Routing Strategy
Abstract: Problems of maintaining routing information in entry-to-exit routing strategies are discussed and a new scheme is introduced. In the new scheme, the routing tables at each node are organized coherently so that a small cost to maintain routes can be achieved and the update of routing tables does not disrupt the network operation. The new scheme, which is part of a new network control architecture under study, can also be used in various existing architectures such as IBM's SNA.
