These scheduled tribes since ages have been victims of socio economic exploitations with poor living conditions. Hence the presence study aimed to to find out the housing conditions, family, occupational, economic, community and social life and its problems. The descriptive study was carried out at 132 Koireng households of two inhabited villages having total population of 689 of which 349 are male and 340 are female. The study found Low income, unsatisfied occupation, poor housing conditions, indebtedness etc. which proved that the living conditions of Koireng tribal community are poor.Read More
