Title: Effect of FYM, Molybdenum and Weed Management Practices on Weeds, Yield Attributes and Yield of Chickpea
Abstract: Field experiment was conducted at Anand Agricultural University, Anand during the rabi seasons of 2003–04 and 2004–05 to study the effect of FYM, molybdenum and weed management practices on weeds, yield attributes and yield of chickpea. The results revealed that IC+HW canied out at 20 and 40 DAS and oxadiargyl @ 0.075 kg/ha recorded minimum density and dry weight of weeds with the weed control efficiency of 77 and 72%, respectively. Seed and straw yields were recorded significantly higher under 5 tlha FYM +1.5 kgha Me but were at par with 1.5 kg/ha Mo. IC+HW at 20 and 40 DAS recorded significantly higher seed and straw yields as compared to rest of the treatments except oxadiargyl at 0.075 kg/ha and pendimethalin at 0.75 kg/ha which were at par.
