Title: Czy pojęcie duszy ma sens? (przeł. M. Chmura, F. Taranienko, przekład przejrzał i poprawił J. Migasiński)
Abstract: We intend to reflect on the old metaphysical notion of the soul and ask whether for us, pursuing philosophical studies today, this notion continues to make sense, that is whether it can be referred to some corresponding reality. Given the above, when it comes to the problem of the soul, such subjection of specialis metaphysics to generalis metaphysics means that the problem is of ontological nature. We must therefore reflect on Kant's thoughts about Self and analyze them in depth. If we are to speak about the soul, we should reject the Kantian critique. Even though this undertaking may seem insolent, it is unavoidable. We can argument our critique in the following manner: the structure of being, as understood by Kant, does not correspond to the structure of being of our Self. This structure of the being of Self shall be defined as the essence of Ipseity [ essence de l’ipseite ].
