Sidelooking radiometry

Description: Conventional, or "down-looking" radiometry cannot operate from low altitudes without degradation of range resolution and distortion of elevated features. A "sidelooking radiometry" system is proposed which can operate at low altitudes without such degradation or distortion. The proposed optical data processor has been implemented and tested on simulated signals.
