Title: OS0116 Shape of Crater and Ejecta Induced by Oblique Hypervelocity Impact
Abstract: This study is about Shape of Crater and Ejecta Induced by Oblique Hypervelocity Impact. Target is aluminum alloys A6061-T6. Projectile is polycarbonate. Impact angle is 0, 15, 22.5, 30, 45 and 60 degrees. About the crater, we study visual observation, sectional shape, depth and so on. On the other hand about ejecta, we study visual observation, ejecta form, scattering angles and so on. At the result of this study, both the crater and the ejecta form are different depending on impact angle. For instance, depth of crater suddenly become shallow over 30 degrees, ejecta form is thinner and thinner as larger angles.
