First, new convex conditions for the global asymptotic stability of the origin are presented. These conditions are then generalised to provide a unified convex characterisation of performance for stable hybrid linear systems involving measures similar to ℋ <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</sub> and ℋ <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">∞</sub> norms.
