Title: Comparative performance of embryo culture and normally hatched chicks for body weight and carcass traits
Abstract: The study was conducted on 40 birds each selected from two groups. The first group consisted 97 birds produced from ex-vivo embryo culture system and the second group was control group comprised of total 112 chicks that were hatched normally. The 80 birds were selected randomly from the two groups, with equal number of males and females to study different carcass traits. The aims of the investigation were to compare growth rate and different carcass traits in normal and embryo culture chicks at 8 weeks of age. It is concluded that the post hatch performance for juvenile body weight and carcass traits found to be similar in birds of embryo culture and control group.
