I still remember, but am willing to accept that my memory could be distorted, the winter afternoon in 1985 having coffee with Pieter at his house in Villeria when he went to his study and came back with the little book of Walter Ong Orality and Literacy: The Technologizing of the Word (1982, London: Routledge).
