Title: SVPWM-Based Simulation of Direct Torque Control in Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor
Abstract: On the basis of analysis of the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), this paper is to propose a new type direct torque control system based on space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) technology aiming at big torque ripple, non-constant switching frequency and other issues of traditional direct torque control. Theoretically, the method can significantly reduce flux linkage and torque ripple, as well as keep the advantage of traditional direct torque control-fast dynamic response of torque. Meanwhile, this system model is built after utilization of MATLAB/Simulink simulation software and the result is the same with that of theoretical analysis, that is, improve the performance of the control system.
