Title: The Provision of Economic Resources for the Convention on Biological Diversity - an Endangered Species
Abstract: The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is considered to be one of the most important instruments of international environmental law as its primary objective is to conserve the biological diversity and sustain the use of its components and make sure of fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising out of the utilization of genetic resources. An examination into the funds made available by developed countries for biodiversity conservation in developing countries under the provisions of the CBD at a variety of scales is presented.
