In the course of BIPV development, demonstration projects are realized worldwide to contribute to this goal. In Real Life Lab „The District of Tomorrow“, different BIPV field tests are realized and monitored, rooftop as well as facade. Different aspects related to BIPV are covered such as backstring ventilation, colouring, and novel opaque facade solutions. The Real Life Lab contributes to a large extend to the improvement of BIPV market potential by creating insight in actual performance and bottlenecks in the built environment.Read More
