Abstract: The direct gain system is the most rudimentary and universal form
in the passive solar systems. In this system, thermal mass is in
need of controling large interior air fluctuation. And this
thermal mass for storing excess solar heat is the most effective
which located with direct exposure to the sunlight (as in a floor).
A theoretical and computer simulation has been made to find direct
exposures on the floor, and then calculated the thermal performanec
of this system.
