Abstract: Drawing from work supported by the William T. Grant, this article offers ways to improve the connections between research, practice, policy. The article argues for (1) supporting the integration of research and other types of evidence in decision making; (2) paving two-way streets for learning so that researchers can learn from practitioners and policymakers and vice versa; and (3) building relationships and trust between researchers, policymakers, and practitioners.
