Abstract: Industrialization and modernization of a country must require much capital, which is the key factor, but capital is heavily dependent on each country’s policies. Ordinary capital raise from two sources: domestic and foreign capital.
Foreign capital investment is indispensable part of the total investment of social and economic of each country, and the conditions necessary to exploit and develop human resources in the country. Along with the process of globalization, the role of foreign direct investment is increasingly important. For developing countries patched with Vietnam in particular, foreign direct investment is an important factor in the provision of capital, technology and expand production scale, creating the new production capacity, improve competitiveness of Vietnam in integration process.
Foreign direct investment has become one of the most important source of capital for development investment, restructuring the economy towards industrialization, modernization and expansion of diverse industries, improving managament capacity and technological level of the country, create more new jobs, contribute to the expantion of external relations and active integration into the international economy.
Research to find out the important factors affecting foreign direct investment flows from which to improve the efficiency of this capital in the future and build a system able to realize more of the potential benefits of foreign direct investment.
