The data collection instrument used was the Brazilian version of the Sport Competition Trait Anxiety Test (SCAT), whose purpose is to identify the profile of in the precompetition period. Overall, the results indicated that the level of of college athletes was 20.10 ± 3.52 points, which characterizes them with an average trait anxiety profile.
